SenseLog Devices

Sense-log devices aim to bridge the gap between conventional sensor data collection and non-reusable indicators for sensing external quantities. The project encompasses the fabrication of bismuth selenide structures with the process of electrodeposition that is split into investigations of tuning the fabrication parameters to thermoelectric and resistive switching optimization. The material and thermoelectric characterization is complemented by the studies of interfaces, forming silver/bismuth selenide memristive junctions and thermocouples for the TE conversion. The combined findings of both parallel routes are integrated into the process flow to produce a sense-log device for heat-flux sensing and value storage, based on the same platform.
