Dr. Hengky Chandrahalim completed his undergraduate education with the degree of Bachelors of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Ohio State University. He received his doctoral degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University in 2009 with research focus in voltage tunable radio frequency micro-electromechanical resonators and filters. Dr. Chandrahalim worked as an integrated circuit design engineer at Integrated Circuit Systems, Inc. in San Jose, California from 2000 to 2003. Soon after his graduation from Cornell University, Dr. Chandrahalim joined the Micro and Nanosystems laboratory at ETH Zurich as a postdoctoral research associate. His current research focus is in Carbon Nanotubes based nano-electromechanical signal processors. Dr. Chandrahalim was the recipient of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society 2009 Student Best Paper Award. He is a member of IEEE Ultrasonics Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control, Electron Devices, and Microwave Theory and Techniques Societies and an active reviewer for refereed publications in the area of micro-/nanosystems, acoustics, ultrasonics, ferroelectrics, and frequency control.
