Credits - Working Hours

Report and Presentation Guidelines

Bachelor Thesis
14 KP - 420 h (10 weeks full working time) Independent, structured scientific activity.

Written report and presentation required.

Presentation:

- 20 minutes Powerpoint presentation by the student explaining the work performed

- Q&A at the end of the presentation

Semester Project
8 KP - 240 h (6 weeks full working time) for Electrical, Mechanical, Physics Departments

12 KP - 360 h (9 weeks full working time) for Material Department
Students will gain experience by independently solving a technical problem using the acquired professional and social skills.

Written report and presentation required.

Presentation:

- 15-20 minutes Powerpoint presentation by the student explaining the work performed

- Q&A at the end of the presentation

Master Thesis
30 KP - 900 h (6 months full working time)
Students should demonstrate during the master's thesis their abilities to independently and scientifically perform structured activities.

Written report and presentation required.

Presentation:

- 20 minutes Powerpoint presentation by the student explaining the work performed

- Q&A at the end of the presentation

Studies on Micro- and Nanosystems
Studies on Mechatronics
5 KP - 150 h (4 weeks full working time)
Written report and presentation required.

Presentation:

- 10 minutes Poster presentation by the student explaining the work performed (poster size A0, include only the name of the student in the header of the poster)

- Q&A at the end of the presentation

Fokus-Fach
1 KP - 30 h No written report, presentation is required.

Presentation:

- 5 minutes presentation. The student meets with the Professor and explains the work and tasks that he/she has performed.

- No report or poster required, open presentation format (2-3 slides with objectives and results welcome, but not mandatory)
